Program Developed by Dr. Reena Sharma. This initiative aims to equip offenders with pro-social skills and therapeutic tools for problem-solving and societal reintegration.

 

Samarth is biadaptive model targets mental health and criminal behavior and thinking process.

Samarth had expanded to include all central prisons in Gujarat, including Lajpur, Surat, Rajkot, Baroda, and Ahmedabad.

Samarth works with two main objectives:

mental health care of prisoners and correctional staff and Criminal Behavior and thought process change among prisoners. 

Samarth is an evidence-based program that has shown its visible impact in improving treatment readiness, violent treatment readiness, psychological symptoms, social criminal identity, and self-esteem.
